I'm assuming that when we have newcomers, there will be a few questions about avatars (the little square boxie thing that appears beneath your username) and signature banners (the long boxie things that appear beneath your post).

So. Ask away here.

AND BRIGID! Will we have a size limit to either of these things?

The sigs should be kept to 255 characters... And I'd rather not have images in the sigs that might stretch the page.
That stuff's annoyin'.

WELL! There's a fine answer indeed!

So, in measuring the width of the comment boxes in photoshop, signature banners shouldn't be wider than 550, and we'll say no taller than 250?
