... Why could they never decide on the length of his nose?? Was it an inside joke or something?!
"In this scene his nose will be 4 inches long. 83" "OH GOOD. So once we pan back out it'll be short again, right?" "YES. Just to keep the viewers worrying."

But yeah sorry to answer your question, i did color just about every character at least once on the show, Herry was fun since he was simple but Theresa and Atlanta were the biggest pains since all the hair lines ( outside and in ) had to be colored a different color.
Details would be left drawn out, in most cases over lots of animation frames so i'd have to kinda re-animate some of it, that and clean up the drawn scanned in lines.
Neil was fun though! even though his hair had colored lines too ( highlights )

haha ok, well Hermes was ok to color too....though to be honest any of the greek god characters were a bit annoying since the pattern on the bottom of the dresses would pop over animation frames every so often because the animators wouldn't keep track of the lines and hence pops.
as for his nose, same idea.....a good animator would stick to the model sheets and some who were new ( you could tell since the drawings would be sorta bad ) wouldn't keep it on model as much and since it wasn't an overly high budgeted show they let it slip....though that being said i worked second season only and the animation was better as far as i could tell :)
hope that helps?

you'll notice stuff like one of two shirt lines changing too, Neil's shirt was a bit tricky at some points if the animator didn't draw the lines all the way in ( most often ) but bracelets, and all that stuff would pop alot.
Though we had an animation checker look into our work after to make sure it's all good....
On a different note i remember my crew in the start was so crabby....hardly anyone got along and a few of them just complained alot...or talked too much ( 3 girls would non stop chat about random stupid stuff ) but it was cool to see the storyboards and all the drawings before it got cleaned, colored and ready for TV :)
oOOOH and Cronus was one funny bad guy mofo...i think him and Neil were my fave characters :)

It was my first animation job and a great way to start things off....i worked from 6:30am to 4pm from mon-fri and then in the afterwards i'd go over to the animators side of the studio and chat with film school friends who also worked there ( i knew quite a few people so it wasn't a strange new place for me ) and later i started to learn the animation software toonboom Harmony ( used in TDI, TDA and 6teen to name a few ) which was what the show Grossology and Ruby Gloom used ( i did some test scenes for both shows ) so overall it was pretty rad, we had a small game room where at lunch we played rounds of Marvel VS Capcom 2 on PS2 :p
