He was born to an unknown mother and father and was left to die by his aunt on the side of the road as a baby after a large black wolf-like shadow came out of his body and devoured his parents. He constantly hears the voices of the victims that have been eaten but he can never do anything about. Constantly paranoid, his powers are very bi-polar and he can never control them.

Born into the wealthy Crasis family, Ilmus lived a pretty spoilt life until his father decided to disown his mother. Bereft, he took in his now young brother Remeil and took out all of his despair on the boy. Despite this, he still loves Remeil and would do anything to protect him. Ilmus spends most of his time reading and trying to find ways to help his brothers condition.
Together, these two became quite a pair, after their father dying, Ilmus took up sword-for-hire works and used Remeil's wolf to his advantage, they both took on the name of the Death Brothers.
