Mostly for the Ally side it wouldn't work...cause she's so sweet and pure and innocent. In an alternate world and dimension if Dimi had been with Phoenix instead that would have been a good song for them lol.

That's not how I interperate the song tho...to me Avril seems to think that she's better than the guys gf...and therefore deserves to be with him more and will do anything to steal him away. She doesn't even seem to be in love with the guy...she just wants him cause he's cute or something. And Hails isn't like that at all...
