Ehhh...alas...for the most part the CotT fanfics that I've found on FFN have all been crappy. Honestly...FFN has seriously gone down the drain since I was in high school. I used to post on there all the time and read...but lately all the fanfiction I've read has come from talentless idiotic prepubecent teens who wouldn't know a good plot bunny if it came up and slapped them in the face, and reading it feels like my brain cells are dying and it's just SO excruciating for me.

Either that or I'm just EXTREMELY picky and want to read fanfics written by people who are as good as me lol.

I can understand that but there is some that are not crappy at all. There was some crappy fanfics of Class of the titans because the aurthurs made them all crappy and all but... to tell you the truth there was a aurthur who was an idiot because she started to make fun and bullied the other aurthurs, only because they told her that her story was "mary-sue" or "Check your spelling and grammar, first" or blahblah but it was only to make that person suggestion.. okay there was some times that we were flammers because that person's Class of the titans stories sucked.. but that person looked that she/he made more than one account and strated to bully the category of Class of the titans, it's like "Yo, go annoy some place else but not in this lovely category". You know? Since the years I was on fanfiction I started to get better (I was new since what, 2006?).. but it's just me. I only have this site to post stories because there was ficwad but for NO reason it didn't want to log me on because I forgot my password and you need to have like what? spam or whatever it said and I have NONE of that so fanfiction.net is the only site I can post stories of cartoon.

Well advising someone to check their grammar and spelling is something I'd do as well if it wasn't written properly. I'm obsessed with spelling and grammar (not that you can tell from my posts on here XD lol) and if a story isn't written with them correctly then I can't read it, because I know that I'll be picking it apart and editing it as I read thru it. There was even one fic I was reading that while it was a good story, EVERY other WORD was capped to EXPRESS important or SOMETHING, like that and it annoyed the hell out of me.

I've been on FFN since 1999/2000, tho if you went to my account it shows everything as published in 2003 cause I've taken stories down and rewritten them a couple times. And trust me...FNN was FREAKING AMAZING back then, everything was well written amazingly well and people paid attention to spelling and grammar. But also back then there wasn't a hoard of teeny-boppers spouting drivel everywhere.

And I'm in no way demeaning the writing talents of any of the young teens here, as I was an exceptional writer when I was 14 and 15. So I know that young teens are able to have writing talent. It's just...the maority of the idiots that post on FFN these days AREN'T THEM! And some of them do have great potiential, but they don't do anything to improve. They're too lazy to care about spelling and grammar and description and characterization, so all we get is drivel and crap.

Hence why for the most part I've given up on FFN.

LOL =) yea I'm not sure why, but writing seems to be popular around school with people my age, eepecially with girls. They all think they're growing up to be fantastically famous authors and poets 0_o

WELLLLLLLL, that's more of an excuse to mess around with your friends after school, and for the comptetitions and whatnot. I saw no improvement whatsoever in my writing since I begun 2 years ago :\

I had to delete one of my Class of the titans stories and had to fix the mistakes only because a bitch had to say my characters are mary-sues... okay so they do look mary-sues, but the bitch had no rights to bitch me like that, she should had have complained somewhere else, she flammed my story so I made my story a tiny bit better. There is stupid people who doesn't think before they write it down or who are bunch of idiots...

Oh... and I am very sensitive with flammings (mean reviews... ect!).. I meant people flamming my stories.. and even sometimes with criticsms...

Well, that's no good. If you want to write well at all, you have to be able to take some form of criticism...But don't take insults, like "Ohh, well...Your writing's no good".

What you should take is proper, detailed criticism because it really does help you understand what you're doing wrong and what you can do to fix it.
For instance, It's not "there is stupid people" it's "there are stupid people". Because we're referring to a multiple number of people, "are" is the correct connector...while "is" is a singular connector, so it doesn't work well at all with the sentence.
SO. Having been properly criticized in a helpful manner, you can feel much better about this can't you? xD

Now if only everyone else could deliver their problems with other people's literature properly without sounding like a total jerk.
And no, I don't like the whole thing where people accuse others of having Mary Sues. Talk about resentful. B(

Actually it would probly be best if you emailed me the stories to read over and then I edit them for you and send them back.

And like I said...I avoid FFN like the plague lol I can't stand it anymore.

Someone mentioned a story above that had something to do with it being really good, but every second word was upper-cased to emphasise meaning or whatever.

Despite the really good part- I get the sinking, horrible feeling it was me .__.

For I, as a newbie writer on FF all those years ago, did not understand how to html italics into Ficwad, where I originally posted all my fanfiction, so I used caps instead, and when I transfered them to ff.net, I didn't take out the caps and I keep forgetting to go back and do so.

Also because I hate half the stuff I've written, hahaha.

Anyways, just in case that was me, I do appologise and at least my expressiveness/grammer has improved- if nothing else.

HAHA well...did you ever write any DuoxHilde Gundam Wing fanfics back in the day? XD Cause that was the kind of fic that it was lol...and if it was you...it's ok I forgive you...cause the story still was very good.

I still go back every so often, haha. There are one or two decent stories still popping up occasionally, and I always liked the community feel FF gave off- you could post anything you wanted (depending on the fandom) and get feedback on how to improve and everyone kinda helped everyone out.

Then there were also the bat**** crazy fandoms that if you, for instance in Beyblade, had a heterosexual pairing you were shunned for life. But if you had boy-on-boy love and women were ignored entirely except as supporting the relationship oorrr being the prime example of evil in wanting to break up the relationship, then you were well-loved.

On that note I can't stand stories that revolve entirely around the pairing- like chick flicks! I need some action going on in the meantime, like, an actual story, y'know? Anyone else feel the same?

*Raises hand* SAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mother made me watch this movie today, Nights In the Rodanthe. Based off of a Nicholas Sparks novel- one of my favorite authors. The old lady was old and alone and divorced and depressed andher kids hated her. then she met a guy and was happy and everything was happy dandy.

And then the guy dies.

WTF?!?
It made me mad! But it was supposed to have some sort of storyline involving court because the guy was a doctor and he was being sued for a woman dying on his operating table. There was, like, FIVE MINUTES dedicated to that issue. hated that movie.

My question was almost answered, it got be wondering though. What type of stories do you guys usually like to read?

I love action stories, where there's like that race against the clock and everything's going to hell and there's like no hope for anything, and then you're thrown into the big fight with no real hope of making it out, and then in the end you do get a happy ending (as happy as you can) and lose ends are tied up and whatnots.

Or very detailed character studies, like, things are happening but the focus is a lot on how events affect everyone differently and how everyone affects each other differently.

Not to say I don't hate horribly fluffly, shmoopy one-shots that leave you smiling, or some really hot PWP stories, where nothing actually happens BUT the relationship- but anything that resembles like a romantic comedy that's all slap-stick humor and only the relationship, I can't stand.

Or mystery stories. I skip to the end every time.

And now that I've said that, I'm starting to think my story 'A Christmas Mission' is sounding like that silly, slap-stick humor story I don't like to read... >_>

I would read any kind of genres of fanfics, and the ONLY fanfics category I would read the most will be in the category Class of the titans and The Simpsons... I think that's it or not? I can't really remember all the categories I read... confuse

In 2006-2008, my writting skill were a living hell, there was loads of mistakes/spelling errors and even sentences that didn't make sense at all, but thanks to Twiinklestar and someone else but kept forgetting the name... my writting aproved a tiny bit more but not much... ashamed

My mom's an english teacher and always checked my grammar when I said something wrong so I think I'm pretty tight on my spelling, but not writing in general. I don't think I have that great of an imagination, so most of my one story is dialogue which....pisses me off. :P

I should really dig through FFN again XD I like a lot of different types of stories; there isn't any specific type I prefer (...well sometimes I'm a bit of an angst junkie *cough*)

I can't write at ALL xDD But I think I'm going to try to write a CoTT fanfic... Maybe it will turn out terrible, but it takes practice to get better, right? And everyone has to start somewhere ^__^U

I have such an unhealthy love for fanfiction, I just loovvee reading it so much. But I do really enjoy well-written, though-out stories over mindless things, even though mindless self indulgence is really fun in the really shmoopy, fluffy stories.

Okay... so confusing but accepting it anyways, I've been on FF.net since 2006 and for ounce, enjoys reading those beautiful stories that people has created but the very first category that I read in or wrote in was the show named, 6teen and afterwards like what end of 2006 I started to go with Class of the titans and other categories...

Yes, finally I write better than I was before because I have a Word program that can check my spellings errors and such like these, so anyways life's good for me on FF.NET, I already wroted more than forty stories which is coming close to fifty... *Sights* I just love the site...
