Just watched that LP of Shattered Memories by Nertom, by the way.
Got up to the point where Lisa MarkII dies-- Isn't that almost EXACTLY like how Lisa died in the first one? Blood all over the place and stuff?
And did the test beforehand influence how she dies? DB

I think it did, actually. The tests that occur throughout the intermissions of the game very definitely effect what happens with Harry MarkII.

Also, no. I don't think Lisa MarkII's death in that scenario is ANYTHING like the original Lisa's death. What she had there was a catatsrophic subarachnoid hemorrhage. You're made to feel guilty for not staying with her, but really there was nothing you could have done. Really, what Harry MarkII SHOULD have done was say "Frick no, you are NOT going home, you're going straight to the ER". But the game, or rather Lisa MarkII, didn't give the player that option. She insisted on going home. In her condition she was incompetent to make a decision. She was whacked in the head!

Well...In a way, yeah. Any nurse who knows what she was doing would have gone straight to the ER and stayed the frick there. Her going home prevented any possibility of anyone being able to help her. BUT, having been hit on the head, she was acting unreasonably and unfortunately your player character doesn't have the option to take her to the ER. There is nothing, in that case, that Harry MarkII, or anyone else could have done.

She had to be in the ER, period, end of story. And take this little info away from this game, Yaz. People who have been hit severely in the head need to go to the ER and be admitted for full assessment for at least 24 hours. Do not pass Go, Do not collect 200 Dollars, and do not listen to the head-injured person. They have to go.
